After a week long wait, today LG’s Google Nexus 5 was available for official selling. The 16GB version is available for Rs 28,999 and 32 GB version is selling for 32,999. The Wi-Fi version of Nexus 7 tablet having 16GB internal storage comes at Rs 20,999 and Rs 23,999 for 32GB internal storage also are now officially available on Google’s Play store for Indian consumers. The Nexus 5 16GB device is Rs 1,000 cheater that what LG had officially launched and quoted. Google Nexus 5 was officially made available in India after its two weeks launch in global market.
The Google Nexus 5 will be available to India users within 2-3 working days after the booking. However, Google had really hit the market by spotting very normal price for their latest smartphone under Rs 33,000. The Google Nexus 7, 16GM with Wi-Fi tablet would be available only after November 26. The Google Nexus 7, will be the first device to get the 4.3 version of its Android OS.
In terms of features, the Nexus 5 is the first smart phone which is going to run on Android 4.4 Kitkat. The Android 4.4 Kitkat is the latest version of Android OS. Along with this Google has introduced some new settings such as HDR+ mode, 360 degree shot. HDR+ will take a burst of pictures in just one shot and after that combine them to give you the best possible picture under the light settings. The device has a Micro USB port, and list of sensors includes Accelerometer, GPS, Compass, Proximity/Ambient Light, and Gyroscope. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE.
