Samsung Launches Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear In India

On Tuesday, South Korean tech Samsung Electronics company launched its most awaiting wearable computing smartwatch Galaxy Gear and the high-end smartphone Galaxy Note 3 in India. Its first time that after unveiled at an international trade held in Berlin, the company is introducing it’s two devices in India.

It’s expected that first wearable tech device, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch in India for Rs. 22,990, and it will arrive on Indian retail shelves on September 25. The mobile giant also launched the third iteration of the Note, the Galaxy Note 3 in India for Rs. 49,900. Both phones pre-booking had started from today.


The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is having 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. Its weight will be near to 168g and 8.33m wide, is both lighter and slimmer than its predecessor. Also available in 32 GB and 64GB versions. A 2-megapixel front camera and 13 megapixel rear camera with Smart Stabilization and high CRI LED flash. The Note 3 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 (LE), IR, and MHL 2.0.

Secondly, the Samsung Galaxy Gear is concerned it has a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display with 320 x 320 pixel resolution. From the Galaxy Gear smartwatch all the calls, display messages, record videos and snap photos with its 1.9-megapixel camera.
