LG Launches G2 Smartphone - Specs & Price Info

On Wednesday, LG Electronics officially unveiled its new device - LG G2 to challenge all Samsung Galaxy series (Samsung Galaxy S4, upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note III), next iPhone’s and other rivals in the booming smartphone market. LG Electronics had covered 6.5% marker of Android-powered smartphones in the second quarter of this year, according to a report released Wednesday by International Data Corporation.

The LG has been officially announced G2 with specs including a 5.2-inch screen of full-HD (1080x1920) display with 423 pixels-per-inch (PPI). The key feature of G2 device is placement of power and volume buttons under the main camera module on the back cover.

Along with this LG G2 is the first smartphone which has been revealed worldwide with 2.3 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 800 chipset along with 2 GB of RAM and an Aderno 330 GPU – with make it more powerful processor.

LG G2 Price In India

In the coming weeks, the G2 will be released in South Korea then it will be rolled out all other countries. But price of LG G2 is not disclosed till now by the company. In event in New York and it'll cost 599 Euros (£516) SIM free for the 16GB model and 629 Euros (£541) for the 32GB version.

LG G2 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution. This display is said to consume 26 percent less power than other devices when it comes to still frames and thereby increases the screen usage time by 10 per cent. It will be available around Rs 40,499.
