Samsung Galaxy S4 Launch Delays Due To Supply Shortage

Most popular Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone, may be delayed in launch at Sprint and T-Mobile. The third and fourth largest carriers in the US.

According to Reuters: Mobile world’s latest flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, will not be affected by the shortage and as planned will be available in stores this Saturday. At the same time, the Korean giant Samsung said: “Due to overwhelming global demand of Galaxy S4, the first phrase supply may be limited only. We expect to fulfill complete inventory to meet increasing demands in the coming weeks,"


However, T-Mobile, online orders service will now begin on Monday 29 April instead of this week as planned previously. Because of "an unexpected delay with inventory deliveries”. At the same time, Sprint will take online orders starting Saturday as initially planned, but the phone will be available at retail outlets only as it becomes available. According to Sprint’s statement: "We had planned to launch this next generation of the award-winning Samsung Galaxy lineup on Saturday,"

At last, AT&T mobile’s said everything was on track and the popular Samsung Galaxy S4 would go on sale this Saturday as planned.

According to last announcement made by Samsung, it had planned a massive global launch for the Galaxy S4, saying it would be available in more than 150 countries by the end of April. It's unclear if those plans have changed with the company's apparent production issues.
